Julie Angelis Sodee (Percussion)

Julie, a native of Worcester, MA, is principal timpanist of The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own". She is also a member of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestra Elizabeth Shulze. Her love for percussion began at the tender age of eight when her mother, a former bugler for the Leicester (MA) All-Girls Drum Corps, brought her to her first Drum Corps practice. Her cat Cicada graciously allows her, her husband Eric and dog Hercules to share in his abode. She is happy that her brother, brother-in-law and stepson are all drummers!
